Cancel your ticket

Cancellation and refund rules

These rules stay open on the page so you can read them before buying, too.

Cancellation

  • Only tickets bought on Otogar.com can be cancelled here.
  • The deadline differs by company; you see it when you look up your ticket.
  • Tickets whose departure time has passed cannot be cancelled.
  • Tickets already checked in by the company can only be cancelled by the company.

Refund

  • Refunds go back to the card you paid with; they cannot be sent elsewhere.
  • The amount is sent to your bank; it lands in 1–7 business days depending on your bank.

Refund to wallet

Money in the wallet is not paid out in cash. It can only be used to buy tickets on Otogar.com.

If you cancel as a member you can take the refund to your wallet instead of your card; wallet money is available immediately, with no bank wait.

Open tickets and changes

Date and trip changes cannot be made on Otogar.com. Please call the bus company; you can find its phone number here: Bus Companies.
